Can't get Install Manager to install!

Hello, all.  I'm having difficulty getting the Install Manager to install on my computer.  I've tried to disable my firewall to see if that would help, but it didn't work.  Whenever I download it, it'll show the popup asking if I want to give Install Manager permission to make changes, and I click 'yes,' but that's as far as it goes!  Nothing else happens.

I have Windows 10 64-bit.  

I've searched through the forum to find similar issues, but can't seem to find a solution.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be very appreciative!

    I'm running Avast, but I was reading where Install Manager may not be compabible with a 64-bit?  I tried to download Daz Studio 4.9 for 64-bit directly, instead, but still wouldn't work.  I ran the Window's troubleshooter on both, and each report came back that both were incompatible with my computer.  I'm not sure if there is still something I'm doing wrong, or not.

    Daz Install Manager runs just fine on 64 bit Windows.

    Install manager is not 64 bit aprication, it still 32bit.  but it can be installed with 64bit windows as same as other old aprications.  it work for my pc too.

    but I do not know current security of  windows 10 how  treat daz aprication, when we install new. 

     after I up-date windows 10 , I often see alrert from my security app or windows 10 system when I up-date some aprication, or download beta apricaiton.

    (they should not cause any problem , which offered from reliable vendor)  eg gimp, or 3d coat betas,

     

     I installed DIM long time ago, and auto-up dated,  then I may not see those compatible problems. but you may better ask suport with log. most of us (in forum)

    not re-install DIM from scratch, I think.  withotu try samething, we can not say it should work.

    Try downloading the DIM installer, then disconnect from the net, disable Avast, and try installing DIM.
