Hello.
I contacted Support about this several days ago but got no response!

I'm new to Daz 3d and on purchasing my first item last week, I found some of the items in the package to be not working.
I'm fairly certain everything installed right as some of the items work.
We purchased TheKids4 Complete package.
Upon installing, two of the components gave the error that "The required file has NOT been found. Installation of " " will now quit. Please contact [email protected] for more help."
I had read that some files are for Daz only and not for Poser so assumed at the time that that was what was going on. But then on building a character, I found several things to not be working. Hair and clothing being the most important.
The items show up in the library, but when applied to the figure, they don't show up. No errors. Just nothing there.

The packages that didn't load were: "10028_1_Kids4Toddler.exe" and "9405_1_TheKids4Morphs.exe"

I'm running Poser Professional 2012 on Windows 7 64-bit. My workstation is a HP xw4600 with a Core2Duo CPU running at 3.16Ghz, 8GB RAM, and an nVidia Quadro 4000 graphics card.

Thanks for any help!

Jeff

Be sure you are clicking on the actual hair and not the textures for the hair

The morphs have to be installed to the same runtime you have the Kid4 figures installed in.

You will also get this error if you have installed to a protected directory (such as "Program Files") and Windows UAC has hidden the files to "protect" you from yourself.

Make sure your installation of PoserPro does not include any conflicts on the UAC level
