How can you save a scene with out changes to the camera position.
I am working on a scene that have buildings and planes in the sky. The model buildings I am using is Dystopia and the planes are Star ship hammer. Everytime I go in file and save as scene to a folder, to be able to work on the same scene later. When I come back later to open the folder the scene is not the same. The position of the scence is totally different from the way you save it. I would have to go back and reposition all the characters and model. Why cant everything remain the same when you save it. I did not have this problem with DAZ 3. I close the file and re-open it and the scene was out of focus again. I did not have this problem with daz 3. I cannot understand why it continuously comes out of focus. Cannot get anything done:( Please help)

You need to add a REAL Camera to the Scene and Use it for setup. The Perspective View camera always resets to the Default location on a Load. Your Camera you Create will stay where you placed it. When you load your scene the next time it will be ready to go again. The Scene will auto load with the View set to whichever camera you were using at the time you save. So the Perspective Camera Resets and that messed up your work. A Real Camera will solve this for you.
DS3.x loaded the default camera, everytime you started a new scene. DS4.x doesn't. You can change this default behavior by going to Edit > Preferences > Scene and click the check box Create Default Camera. Then every new scene you create will load a camera and that's what you should be looking through.
And then there is that ^^^^^^ way too. %-P
That brings back the old, DS3 way of doing it...which, is what the OP is probably most comfortable with.
But it doesn't fix the already saved scene...that needs a camera added to it and resaved, like your suggestion hinted at, Jade... :-P
Also if you forget to load a new camera or just want to copy the Perspective Camera position then whilst viewing through the Perspective camera load a new camera and choose to "Apply Active Viewport Transforms: " in the camera loading window. That will place the new camera in the same poistion as the perspective.
Yes I for got. Thank you all for everything . It been a while sense I use DAZ. Everything is working find. I forgot to set up the camera. Man I feel stupid!!!
