Problem with installing content given by client

My client has sent me obj file with two folders named runtime and shader presets. he said i need to install it but i dont know how to.

Please help.

    First, was your client licensed to send you the files - if they are a store product, or a freebie that doesn't allow redistribution, then the answer is no.

    That kind of "installation" is very simple. Most products are installed that way:

    For zur DAZ Content Library you find a path called "My Library" or "content". And for sure there are already subfolders named "runtime" and "Shader Presets". Simply merge the received package into it.

  • He has rights and the files are his own.

    Bu make sure you don't have a Content folder inside My Library

    If you look at the different sources for content (DAZ shop or freebees) you either have "My Library" or "content". Not the one inside the other. Never experienced that.

    Except DIM zips there should be no "Content", "My Library" or similar top level folder.

    but I just looked into the zips in the DIM download folder. The top level folder is "content".

    That why I said, "except".   DIM strips out the "Content" folder when it installs, its purpose seems to be just to separate actual content files from instructional files use by DIM
