No textures on the object

Hey

I have a small problem with the textures that I want to put on an object downloaded from the internet. I create surfaces for this object and in the diffusion color I choose the texture, but on this surface there is only some color from this textur. 

Could you help me

    If you look at the statistics panel on the right of the page, it says

    UV Mapping No

    which means it lacks the information telling the renderere how to wrap a texture around the model. There are various tools which will let you UV map the model - probably a simple planar projection would work, or cubic projection if you wanted to anything with the edges.
