Visual Style Shaders Question (Presets)

I was looking for the original thread for Visual Style Shaders, but the search engine here is not cooperating.

I was wondering if there is a better tutorial for saving your own VS presets than the one in the pdf that comes with the product (that one is a bit thin on making and saving your own). I know how to customize the shaders to my liking, but I'm having a problem saving the presets so I can apply them to different figures.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for information--if it's out there?
