Is Victoria 4 base still available?

There are some characters and files that require the base version of V4 and don't seem to work with Genesis or V4.1
Is the base version still available or is there a perfect alternate for her?

    But do you really think she will do? I've already got 4.1 and the stuff for V4 doesn't work with her. Or do I attach too much importance to the numbers?

    Everything for V4 should work, no matter what version. It is actually now V4.2 but you should have the latest version anyway. Simply go to your Itemised Order History, and Reset anything that you think doesn;t work, to get the latest versions available. There is no cost in upgrading to V4.2

    Having the same problem.   I have Victoria 4.2, but none of the characters that require a V4 base even show up in my smart content, or products although they do show up as being downloaded in the Content Manager.

    Most products for V4 were created way before smart content was implemented in DS, so they don't have the metadata needed to appear in smart content tab.
