Yet another Saving a Character Preset Glitch

deleted userdeleted user Posts: 1,204

So I have my morphs all set up. I go to file > Save as > Character Preset > I dont touch anything I just save.

Now when ever I load a fresh Genesis 3 into my scene it loads AS that character.

If I load an old scene. It loads everything into the scene PLUS applies all the morphs my character I just saved was using.

If I delete the Actor preset, It dont fix the issue...

I think, untill you save character preset,  you saved your hand made morphs as morph assets.

then if you keep those morph current value as not zero, and save them as morph assets,   those value set as default value.

then when you load base figures (and any characters), it will  load those moprh default value already auto applied. (as same as HD naval morphs etc)

I do not clear remember, current DS how manage morph values, when save as moprh,  but I keep it rule .

when save new morph,   I set all morph value  to zero,  and confirm it, then  save them as  new morph.

To correct those morphs,,, load base figure then check those morph values in parameter setting. (currently used)

then if default value was not zero, set it as zero, and set current value to zero. then save them again (overwrite morph files as same as before)

but take care not duplicate saved morphs.  (check carefully, how you set "vendor name" and "Product name" about those morphs when you saved before

then overwrite them  with new default value, and current value)    if you know well about save modifed assets, you can use it too.

(but save modifed assets, often cause problem too, then I can not recommend much, may better confirm one by one, with save morph)
