How can I make cloth half-strip ?

Afternoon ~ ladies and gentlemen

How can I make cloth half-strip in DAZ, trousers or skirt to the thigh ,and so on .

I have heard that one way to do that is ---- use Marvelous Designer. transport DAZ cloth into MD, make cloth half-strip in MD , and transport it back into DAZ

Is it the best way for the newbies like me ?

If you mean as in pull someone's pants down, I'm guessing you'll want Fit Control for Genesis 3 Male(s) and/or Fit Control for Genesis 3 Female(s), which does that and more.

The product u mentioned seems can only make simple half-strip effect ,like pants , bra ,and the morph is limited ...

I want to make long skirt or trousers to be half-strip , it maybe difficult to do that , I think
