The Freak 4 not gettin Freaky HOW to Use morphs for Beast, Ogre, etc

I bot the Super-Physicality Bundle.  It includes The Freak 4.  In "content library" I created catagories and "show content in smart content > files" for the Freak 4 default, Freak 4 advanced, and puppeteer presets Freak 4.

I open as new an M4.  I 'merge into scene' the Freak 4 advanced.  The character changes, cool.

Next I ' merge into scene' the Freak 4 puppeteer presets.  Then... up in my Lost and Found are the Freak 4 morphs.  I (merge into scene) change the bodies - works fine.  I change the poses - no problems.  But... I can't change the faces.  The first one, for example (but none work), Beast.  Merge into scene Beast, nothing changes. I tried it with head only as focus and as entire Genesis as focus and Nothing.

I stayed in Lost and Found library and deleted what I had.

Next I started new character, and just right clicked Beast and New, or Merge, and an empty pop-up box opens asking me to select something.  Nothing there... so...

Next I started new character, and just right clicked the Freak 4 with a little yellow triangle in top left side  and New, or Merge - and he pops into my screen.  Still, however, I am not able to merge the Beast into the scene focusing genesis or face.

What am I doing wrong?

    Freak 4 won't work with Genesis, it's a M4 character.

With the generation 4 figures don't do anything from Smart Content or Categories or Products, work from the Poser Formats in the Content Library pane.

Yes, I mention in my post that "I open as new an M4".   I don't think I said in my post that I was using Genesis?  Plus I go thru the explanation that I also directly opened using "Freak 4" launch button in addition to M4 and still no face changes.

You need to INJ the morphs first before they are availble

What does that mean... INJ the morphs first?

If you go to Poser Formats>content folder isntalled to>Pose>Daz's Michael 4>Morph Injections there should be poses to INJect the morph data into the figure - though if you are using PowerLoader that shouldn't be needed.

I'm using Daz Install Manager, I don't know what Powerloader is. I have tried searching the forums and Google for freak 4 info to no avail.  I wrote a helpdesk ticket asking for step by step instructions.  I do see the path you noted above, and have tried playing around with "merge into scene / the orange + inj the freak 4", but nothing still happens.  If there are instructions someplace please point me to them!  I know how to follow instructions.  Once I learn how, great, but now I'm at the point of just pushing buttons and that's just a stupid waste of my time.  I've spent a couple hours on this needlessly when obviously there is a way to do it, but for some reason I cannot find that knowledge.

So the morphs seem to be color coded.  The ones I am trying to use are orange so I tried using the orange inj guy... but there is a + one and a - one.  What does that mean and where do I find that knowledge?  I can't be the first person that is new and not know this stuff?

+ adds the morphs, - removes them

You may need to go (via an operating system window) to \Runtime\Libraries\!Daz and double-click the DzCreateExPFiles-m4 file for your system (.bat file for Windows, .command for Mac).

A nice person named Emmalee in support made this short video showing what to do. As a noob, this was really appreciated and totally different than all the other packages where you simply 'right click / merge into scene'.

I asked if she could post this into the forums, but she told me she could not but I could.
