Pale Face

Hi
No not a reference to the cowboy movies of my childhood. I have a character called giselle character and hair by valea and i used the skin texture which i played around with to make it lighter. Being a careless person i have lost the finished character, and would like to create one that has a very light skin tone, porcelain or close to it. I am not finding it easy to do this using the surfaces tabs, and have spent ages in the attempt. It seems to me that there must be some simple way of getting a female character with a very light skin, either by using surfaces, or by buying a pre made character. I suppose that this might be done using shaders, but i don't really understand how they work, and i can't find simple step by step tutorials to help with any of these techniques. Can any offer me any advice please

Ivory is a character with a pale skin, and RawArt has a couple of Albino characters. Surreality also has several pale characters, but I'm not sure which if any come with DS material settings (she tends to use advanced Poser Material Room features, at least for the makeup options). You might also look at taking a fairly light character set, making copies of the textures and lightening them using the curves or levels/equalisation functions of your image editor.

Thank you. I notice that Ivory, which does look fine regarding skin tone, is for Aiko, will that work with V4?
I also though that lightening the textures would also be a good way to achieve what i want, now and in the future. However my skill is lacking. I can easily lighten the textures but i seem to be doing something wrong when trying to use them. What i have done which is probably wrong but seems to work to a point is copy the edited textures to my desktop. The in DS i select V4 and use the giselle texture to start with. I then go into surfaces and select head, torso and limbs one after the other and select the appropriate textures from those saved to my desktop. After some messing about i managed to get a figure with a much lighter skin tone overall, even the eyes and lips and so on are fine.
I guess you and many others are perhaps rolling around laughing at this, and i am sure there has to be a simpler way, but i dont know how, and if there is, can someone tell me please.
