Orphaned Files (I think?)

In Smart content I have several files that come up as unavailable.  Their thumbnail looks like a picture frame with an exclamation point in the center and another in the lower left corner.  If I click on it it says the file is missing.  Everything I have found online says to fix the issue I should use the option in the db maintenance to remove orphan files.  However that option doesn't seem to exist in the db maintenance.  Did it perhance get moved somewhere else in 4.9?

That's a feature from DS 4.8 and earlier, the way 4.9 handles the database has changed and so the function no longer makes sense. The exclamation mark in the frame means that the thumbanil is not where the database says it is, the exclamation mark in the corner emans the actual content file isn't either. One thing to check is that the folder you installed to is et as a content diectory of the right kind for the type of file - how did you install, and to where?
