Does Poser Python work on DAZ?

I saw this product from outoftouch https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/oot-hairblending-plus/107233#undefined, the readme says it uses a Poser python script that works only in Poser. However I read in another thread here, https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/71514/hairblending-script-for-dazstudio/p1 , that a seemingly identical product from the same creator is made to work in DAZ. As I know nothing another Poser-DAZ scripts and compatibility, can I ask if the product I saw in renderosity (in the first URL) works in DAZ?

These are two different versions of the same product.  One works in Poser and one works in D|S
Python scripting for Poser actually doesn't even always work in Poser, as sometimes the Python version changes when a new Poser Version is released..

Thanks, now I'm wondering if I should buy the Poser version on renderosity and then merge it with the DS script in the second URL? Or do I just use the second URL link? As i find it hard to believe that the creator would allow a freebie of the product to be used just like that. Pardon me for my ignorance. Edit, since the Rendo product is for Poser can we assume it works with 3Delight? I have no idea what render engine Poser uses...last I read from the product's creator, the hairblending feature is iray only but I doubt Poser has iray.

The PA is aware,  if you read the first post in that linked thread

NOTE: Outoftouch has graciously allowed me to release icon versions of the hair textures used for hairblending.
