Need some tabs and can't find them.

I am using the latest version of DS.  I have a customized layout, and now can't figure out how to get some tabs to appear in my window.  Here is a screenshot of what I'm trying to find and can't figure it out.

What layout are you using?  Some of them have ativity tabs and some don't.

A customized version of City Limits Lite I'm pretty sure.  I'm not only missing those tabs, but I re-imported the metadata because i'd lost the Smart content thing, but now a ton of my stuff that was in it before is missing.  It's just showing old products.  I don't use DIM, never have except to dl new versions of DS.  I don't know anythin about CMS, or any of the other database things.  I've also lost those little tabs at the bottom of the smart content that say stuff like 'pending', 'installed', etc.

Sorry I'm such a dork, but about all I know how to do is load a figure, dress, pose, light and render.  I have never messed with anything else except the custom layout to suit me.  Here's a screenshot of my current layout if this helps.
