What do SO and ST mean?

in New Users
OK so I bought beautiful skins for G3. Along with it came no help or instructions (unfortuantely the norm for DAZ3D). In looking at the options there are SO and ST versions of everything. I can find no explanation for these initials anywhere. Would someone in the know please tell me whjat they mean?

SO = Scatter Only, ST = Scatter and Transmit. These are translucency options.
From the product page:
"There are also two options for every preset, Scatter Only and Scatter Transmit; these reflect values of the translucency compatible with DAZ Studio 4.9 and up. Scatter Transmit is for lighter skins, increasing the visibility of veins and underlying features in the way that real skins have when they are very pale. Scatter Only is ideal for skins in the mid and darker tonal range."
Well, Duh. Thanks for letting me know!
