Back Up My Das 3D Library

Can I back up the directory: "MyDaz3DLibrary" onto an external hard drive in case of a hard drive failure on the main computer? With 1200 items I would hate to have to reinstall every one.

I do it regularly (never manage weekly I'd like...) I use a open source backup software to backup only the files that have changed, since the last time. Also export user data from the Database Maintenance option, before backing up your data - then you have a backup of the metadata in your external backup as well.
Are you able to recommend a backup software for windows 10?
I use FreeFileSync on Windows 10, has some pup software included whch it a pain but my antivirus strips it out. Others might recommend something else.
Don't forget to back up the CMS database - by default, on Windows, C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Daz 3D\cms\
I use SyncBackPro from 2brightsparks; they have a low-price version that can be upgraded to pro if you want to check them out.
Remember that a backup that has not been verified is not a useable backup.
Where is the Database Maintenance option? To be truthful I had never heard of it.
Thank you, I'll check it out and I do appreciate your help
If you right click on the Content Library tab and you get access to Database Maintenance, select the Export option and wait. It generates 3 UserData_*.dsx files for me, depending on how much content you have, in the Runtime/Support directory. I use that to import to the Beta.
Hop that makes sense.
Thank you for all the help. I will get everything backed up this weekend and hopefully never need it
