What components necessary install in Windows ?

in New Users

DAZ and much Content need much harddisk space, I want to separate it in clean install, only necessary in windows and place rest of Content in secondary large disk

What DAZ components is good/must to have installed in Windows ?

(have used DIM to download everything, next step is install DAZStudio)

    In general, before installing any applications, make sure that you set your Documents/Pictures/Videos/Downloads folders to use the larger drive - find them under your profile (C:\Users\YOU), right-click, select Properties, use the Location tab to move them. Most applications will respect your choice.

    You can use any location you like for both applications and content - however, you will need to edit the default paths to do so. Install the Daz Install Manager, then open it and click the gear icon at top-right to open preferences. Set the base path for all applications at the top of the Installation tab (this is the location to use as "Program Files"), then add content paths as desired in the lower section. You will need to tell DS where to look for content - via Edit>Preferences>Content tab>Content Directory Manager for example.
