Can I farm an Iray CPU render to other devices on my network?

    Yes and no, I think - DS does support render farms, but the render machines need to be running Iray Server (which is $295pa for each machine).

    Do what bitcoin miners do. Build an open frame case instead of using a standard pc case and get a motherboard with alot of pcie slots and add pcie extenders and hang the extra video cards over the motherboard. You will get better cooling and now you don't have to worry if the cards will fit in your pc case.  Consequently, there is no need for Iray farming.
