Playing with zdepth and illustration

When i first started using poser it was as a drawing aid. as time went on, though, i found myself modeling original content more and more and drawing less and less. This weekend i decided to draw something for a change, it's probably been four years since the last time I've done more than a doodle. I'm still filling in the details, but I took a break to see what could be done with a zdepth render and lens blur in photoshop when combined with a more traditional drawing.

Some neat possibilities for helping to focus attention in an otherwise cluttered piece.
