genesis 8 un-selectable in viewport - SOLVED -

Wierd problem this, I cant select my Genesis 8 character in the viewport of any of her body parts with any of the selection tools. I have to go into the scene tab and select there. Any ideas?

If I have a genesis 3 character in the scene I can still select as normal so its some setting with the gen8 figure but I cant find it

    Answered this myself, the selectable switch wasnt visible in parameters for some reason, Fixed by going to windows/panes/property hierachy and changing "selectable" to show in parameters

    Happens to us all. Lot's of places to change settings that aren't always apparent when we're trying to do something else/
