What do you mean?
Hi Richard.....
What I mean is, everytime I set a pose for one of my figures they always seem to jump back to ground zero, or the starting point in the centre of the view point. You might have someone nicely positioned over there by the tree, you click on what you think is a nice pose for someone standing by a tree and zap....... They've gone! They're no longer standing by the tree because as soon as you load in the pose the figure jumps straight back to the centre and you have to mess around getting them back to where they were. How do you load a pose into a figure but still have the figure stay exactly where it was when you first placed it ?
Ah, well if you are using poses from the daz store at least they should leave the figure node alone - the idea is that placement within the sceen is handled by the figure ("Genesis 8 female" or whatever) and the hip is used only for keeping the feet on the ground (if needed) and relative offsets for couple poses. So use the figure node to place the figure by the tree and poses should then be safe - if not, please report that as a possible bug in the product.
