Double Checking Content Acquisition

Just downloaded the NEW Daz 4.9.4 and suddenly find myself unsure as to what is "mine."  I saw the flying saucer named the greyling which I was pretty sure I had downloaded somewhen in my past. But it's a saucer I don't recall seeing before so I am confused about "ownership."  I.E., do I own this or do I have to be careful about clicking on content I see.  Can I give it back?  I really hope I have to buy whatever in the standard fashion where I go to your site and buy and pay for something.

If you have Studio Open, everything you see in the Content Library is yours. 4.9.4 doesn't come with any content that you have to buy.

That can be a bit difficult, JM, if you do not religiously keep track of downloaded content. For purchased items from major sites, they tend to maintain records of such purchases that you can check, just as they do here at DAZ. For example, to check your DAZ purchases, just login to your account and look for Product Library under My Account. That lists everything you have obtained from DAZ in chronological order (you can resort by name or do a search as well). It will also include any products you may have obtained formerly from Runtime DNA (RDNA), which DAZ acquired some time ago, but is limited to products that were migrated to the DAZ store. Not everything was.

For sites that do not maintain such records, particularly for free items, the onus is on the user to keep track of such things. A lot of sites that existed in the past have disappeared over the years, taking their content with them, unfortunately.

The greyling flying saucer that you are referring to was a freebie offered by the old RDNA site called the "RDNA Greyling UFO". Since it was migrated, you should be able to find it your DAZ account - just enter greyling in the search box.

it's a RNDNA freebie that has moved here to Daz3D if that helps.

Thank you everyone.  I didn't get back to this because I thought that I was given notice that there is a response in an email. I get it.  68. Is that an excuse?  Losing my mind but that's good in a way.
