DAZ 4.5 boggs down to a crawl when I start lighting scene on PC.

I get my character - fine.
I get my scene - fine.
I start lighting - the program becomes unresponsive.
What can I do to fix the problem?

    This is in preview, not rendering? What video card do you have (Help>Troubleshooting>About your video card...)?

    I have an ATI Radeon X1200 video card.

    OS version, bit count and RAM amount?

    That 'card' is barely going to handle the UI...let alone adding things like lights to the scene.

    ram is the important point here I think, that video chipset is sharing system ram with everyting else on that netbook.
