Help Mirror AniBlock button not showing

Hi,

 

I am trying to create a loop of the "staying alive" aniblock first moving to the left then right. I am given to understand that if I click once on the aniblock it should show the "block mode edit" tool bar above where I can then select the mirror button to shift the ani block to the other side but for me this in not showing. What am I missing here?
