Looks like it just needs to be reinstalled. There's no place to put serial numbers though, for this one and many of the other plugins. Hopefully that won't be a problem.

Are there any official recommended minimum
Hardware specs for VWD pubilished anywhere?
I demoed this thing and found it unusably  slow compared
my optitex or even posers aged cloth room.

I'm not sure there is, wolf359. Let me check the documentation. I do find it crashes a lot. When it does work, it works well, even on hair. But it can be very frustrating. Every dynamic option I've tried has its weird quirks.

Llynara: check to make sure you have latest version of VWD?  I found it got faster and more stable with update around... May?

I bought it on May 1st, so I'm assuming I have the latest, but I'll certainly check.

@wolf359 I've looked at the product page, and in both manuals (about 120 pages combined.) It's well documented but I'm not seeing anything on specs besides that fact that it's for Windows only.

     Thanks

I shall stay with my current solutions

I've got an AMD Athlon II x3 450 3.2Ghz Cpu in my machine

I think VWD mostly depends on the clothing you are importing as some stuff really crawls and other stuff flies so fast I have trouble stopping it where I want it. I also found that turning off the multithreading (I think that's the option) really helps a lot with some CPUs

Installing DS always replaces the control plug-in, so you must install that (the new version) after DS - I install DS, then all the plug-ins, just to make sure. Once isntalled the serial number should still be remembered.

So where did the $50 full Optitex Clothing control plugin go? The one I bought three months ago? Nowhere to be found. No place to add it or put in the serial number. Why sell something if it's going to be obsolete within a few months?

it should ask you for a serial if the dll in your plugins or show under help plugins red if disabled/unregistered and you can there.

Meh, nice try but no.  That's not going to work.  Maybe for a tablecloth but not something like this: https://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-tunic-and-sashes

I'm stuck with M4 looks like.

They all work, regardless on the character, on all versions
