Conforming Genesis 2 and 3 clothing to Genesis 1 & Gen X questions.

Gen 2 and 3 to Gen 1:
So I was away from DAZ for some time while V4 was just coming into her prime. Upon my return, there is Genesis, Genesis 2, and Genesis 3 which has been its own learning experience. I opted for the one that would most easily allow the continued use of my library for little fuss (that being Genesis.) With that said I am noticing that Genesis seems to have been passed over on a lot. Nearly everything in the marketplace is Genesis 3 (with some spattering of Genesis 2. Well, I am pretty fixed on using Genesis 1 because reverting back to a separate male and female model seems like double dipping (like with clothing and hair) and I spend way too much on this junk anyway.
TLDR; Is there a way to convert clothing, hair, accessories, (maybe even textures?) from the Genesis 2 and 3 sets to the original Genesis?
Gen X2 question: I had this product for a moment wouldn't work properly the way I was hoping so I was refunded(thank you DAZ3d staff.) However in looking back I did EVERYTHING right when I used it. So is it the case that when converting a morph from michael 4 to Genesis, not all of them work? Specifically I was trying to use "Red" from renderosity store. The michael 4 morphs worked fine, but nothing from Red would ever show up, not even the nuance expression dialers. I ask because I really want it to work and would happily pick it back up IF it would. But I need ot know someone has it working in that manner.

You could also AutoFit from male to female within a generation, and you could have gone in steps (AutoFit Victoria 4 to Genesis, AutoFit that to Genesis 2 Female (or Male), AutoFit that to Genesis 3 Male) to use a later figure. The issues are textures, especially the Genesis 3 textures as the layout of the maps has changed meaning it isn't possible to simply use a remap; Cayman Studios has made some backward-compatibility add-ons but I can't recall what they cover.
