I have a problem with a hair. Why Why it appears grey color on the head? Look the picture... Everything files (Textures, Templates etc... are ok!). When I add a color, the grey area is the same color...
Which hair is this? You are adding a colour by using a materails preset? Are you sure it belongs with the hair? Is the hair made for the figure you are using it on?
Hi friend, in addition to Richard, looks to me hair comes with skull cap. Forgot what hair I used, but a skull cap was applied with hair. In parameters setting, the skull cap can be adjusted, to fit models head.
Rasta hair has an icon called "Rasta Tails Hair !Apply First.duf". You have to use this to apply the transparency maps that hide the skull cap. When you use that first, apart from the transparency maps, the hair will still be untextured and white, although the skull cap will now be invisible. After that, you can apply any of the textures and they will work as expected.
(Don't ask me where the icon is in Smart Content; I don't use that. You can probably find it by searching for "!apply", though. If you use the Content Library directory structure, the icon is at /People/Genesis 3 Female/Hair/OOT Rasta Tails Hair/MATS/Iray/Rasta Tails Hair !Apply First.duf)
I wish I understood why Outoftouch set up the textures that way; it seems to cause no end of grief.
