Figure loses shape during editing

As best I can recall, DAZ preserved the high resolution shape of the figure during editing such as pivoting a limb or adjusting a slider. Now, running the most recent few versions, the DAZ figure distorts the moment I click to make such an adjustment. The same is also true when an animation is played back in the editor. It's almost as if the figure reverts to a simpler model or something. As soon as I release the mouse button the figure returns to its more refined and accurate shape. Is this normal behavior or do I have a setting messed up somewhere?

    Window>Panes(Tabs)>Tool Settings, check that under During Manipulation the Draw Style is set to Use Current (off) for your tools.
