Do you have a license? The free DS 4 Pro does not activate Decimator - if you paid for DS 4 ###pro make sure you use that serial, if not you need to have purchased Decimator and to enter the serial number in Help>About installed plug-ins

Richard, you never did reply to tell me how to get Decimator 1.7.2.70 to work with Studio 4.9.2.70... Would you please do so?
You did tell me that the version numbers had to match, which they do, but Studio tells me that it needs the latest version of, well, Studio.
Since, when I updated from Studio 4.8 to 4.9, all of my non-DAZ content disappeared, I'm a bit chary about updating again.

I cannot get it to show in the beta either, with a lot of file searching got GenX Animate2, Keymate, Graphmate, Alembic export, LAMH and Garibaldi and all my other plugins I cannot recall this moment (think I own just about everything!!) working.

The installers do not let me install to the beta so copying files the only way and Decimator must have something I missed. GenX was fiddly enough!!

It works in my production build which is 4.7 btw!!! I use that mainly for a few compatibility issues with exporting to other softwares.

I have the latest 4.9 beta.

If you don't have the 4.9.2.70 installer then you need to isntall DS 4.9.3.166 - you can't get older installers, so if you want to stick with older builds you must make sure you have any plug-in installers for that build too.

There are separate installers for the beta versions of all the Daz branded plug-ins - again, plug-ins and application need to match.

I am getting more and more confused. I have many plug-insadded and working, do you mean that I wold need separate installers for each? How can I tell which installer I have, and why didn't it come with the product?
I tried to install it the day I purchased it.

DIM should show a separate zip for Decimator for the Public Build (Beta).

I just bought the decimator. I use the Daz Studio Free version and I cannot find the licence. In the Product Library it says that I got standard licence. So what do I need to enter in the "Installed Plugins"?

Is DS running as Pro? You should ahve a box next to Decimator in Help>About Installed plugins, you put the serial number for Decimator (from your account page) in there.
