Hello all!
I purchased the The TimeTraveler model and am having a heck of a time applying materials to the suit. I have not had any issues before but it only seems to be with this.

Any thoughts?
Scott

Can you storelink to the product (if it is a DAZ product), might make it easier for anyone to get an idea of the problem.

    Hello Scott

Is it this one : http://www.daz3d.com/the-timetraveler

First of all, are you using DAZ Studio or Poser, I will assume DAZ Studio.
How are you trying to apply these materials? You have to make sure that you have the item selected in the Scene pane first, then double click the DUF Material file (or drag and drop the DUF file onto the model).

Do you get any errors? Can you give a bit more information about your OS and your setup?

Wow! Thought I actually had the helmet selected for material applying. After fully selecting the helmet only then it worked.

That was the fix guys - Might have been the IPA's I had last night as well :p

    Thanks again!

One more question - In poser the time travel suit (http://www.daz3d.com/the-timetraveler) does not move when the actual model is selected and posed. Vice versa when posing the suit - model does not move.

Any thoughts? Been working with poser for some time unless I am missing something.

    Thanks,
    Scott Gaskill

(FumeFX overkill but just tossing it out there)

You need to have the clothing item 'Fit To' the character. In Poser I think it is in the Figure men, and is called 'Conform To'

Did that and it did not work. Reinstalled SR3 and DSON - Works oddly enough.

    Last questions -

IK does not seem to be working in poser when using genesis models. It contorts them oddly when used and activated. Never had that issue before - thoughts?

(Just edited this - Take a look at this - http://www.sharecg.com/v/67133/view/11/Poser/Inverse-Kinematics-for-DAZ-Genesis-in-Poser
Applied it and IK works great!)

That looks like what you need, I don't use Poser much, but Poser 8 is the last one I updated to.

I will keep a copy of the ShareCG link, thanks for posting it. WandW is an active member here on the forums.
