Having a problem saving a morphed Character

DDCreateDDCreate Posts: 1,404

I have a character I've done some modifications on using body morphs as well as lengthening/shortening bones. The problem I have is when I restore the figure to the T pose, it snaps all the bones back to their original parameters. I tried saving as a Character Preset but the same thing happens. Is there a way to save a character so the modifications stay in place?
I'd appreciate any help.

Are you linking scaling to a sahping parameter? Or applying scaling without linking? Which restore option are you using - Figure Pose?

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly. But as an example, I am selecting the bones in the forearms and fingers and elongating them with the XYZ dials. Then I start my posing but when I want to start a pose fresh, I select the character and choose Restore Figure Pose. That's when it erases all the adjustments I made.

Scaling is part of posing so it will be restored. You could try memorising the figure pose before starting to pose but after applying your scaling.

So there is no way to save the scaled settings?

Doesn't memorise work? Or as a preset, use a Properties preset to save themorph and scaling information

I suggest ERC Freeze to tie all the morphs and scaling parameters to a single dial, which can then be saved as a Morph Asset.
