4.5 Pro installation-question

Ok,
Such a simple question and I'm not to sure why it's not happening.
I'm updating from Standard to Pro and maybe not choosing the right installation path.
I'm sure it's just like installing any new product??
If i'm correct we don't lose any old data from Standard??
Scared I'll wipe my favourites

    You don't need to install anything. Go to Help>About Installed Plugins and put your serial number into DAZ Studio Pro Plugin Bundle.
    The Standard version is exactly the same as the Pro; but with those plugins disabled.

    Had a panic and thought i'd uninstalled my whole library at one stage.
