Need head only for aspen for gia
Is there any way to just get the head for aspen for gia? https://www.daz3d.com/aspen-for-gia ; I'm was so disapointed when I found out that the head morph did not come separate. I know there may be a way around this problem but I'm clueless. And I noticed the same issue with dark elf for genesis 2. https://www.daz3d.com/dark-elves-for-genesis-2-female-s ; The faces look great combined with what I've already made but the bodies distort them unto weirdness. Including an example of the dark elf added to the body I already built. I liked what I had but the face was too human so I started trying out other options. If worse comes to worse I can render it twice and paste in another head but I'd rather find a solution for something I suspect is going to come up again.

I think that if it's only a full body morph, without separate dials for the head and body, you'd need to use a modeling program to separate them. Blender works I believe :)
I'd like to know how to do that as well actually, I often wished some of the characters where separate.
I actually just sent them a letter because the aspen morphs keep dropping when I reopen the duf file. But I was thinking about it and I bet we could use genx to save just the face morphs.
Ugh. I just ran a test. Managed to save just the head to a genesis figure morph but no idea how to save it to the same figure.

Thanks. This may be a god send. I'm going to try to read and understand it right now. I'm far far far from knowing what I'm doing in daz. Just figured out lighting this last week after almost a year of messing with the program daily. But honestly I'm having a problem with the Aspen morph in general. I can not get the actual morph to save to a figure that I save. It worked before. But I can take the original figure I made. Resave it under a new name. Close daz and reopen daz and the Aspen morphs are gone, however the other morphs are still there. So unless I can actually learn how to reapply that morph every time I want to use the file I'm going to have to scrap this project and start over. Every other figure I've messed with has ended up looking either too young or too mature so I'm getting desperate. I've contacted support but they went silent after asking me if I was saving as a scene or scene subset. I'd done both so maybe I confused them with my answer. Or maybe they are looking for a solution and have not found one yet. The silence is killing me.
Ok I went through the thread. I don't have zbrush and blender is overwhelming with as much as I'm struggling with daz. I can only deal with learning one program at a time. All I can think to do is build this project from ground up every time I want to use it. Which is a shame because I wanted to use these for all of one race, both the male and female characters. Now it's just too much work. Maybe I will get lucky and support will find a solution for me. Or the creater of Aspen will add just a head injection.
Unfortunately it goes over my head as well. I've tried to get into Blender but I'm getting lost. I guess if I REALLY want a separate head morph I'll give it another shot but now it's just a big headache.
I'm pretty sure I can do it with genx by just choosing the head morphs. But not with Aspen or Gia. They are currently broken and were before I even tried. I just did not realize I was failing because they were broken.
