What would be a good 3d design program that works well with Daz3d?

Or can you design clothing and tools on Daz3d

Don't pass go, don't collect two hundred dollars, go directly to Blender ( https://www.blender.org/).  It's completely free and has a billion free tutorials pretty much everywhere.  There's even a free learning version ( https://blendersensei.com/?doing_wp_cron=1421621126.6905400753021240234375 ).

Blender is a professional tool that does everything and is continually updated.  There are numerous vibrant forums (try this one for example, https://www.blendernation.com/ ) with a world wide army of dedicated professional level users.  There are other programs but you'll find that they're expensive, proprietary (the 3D files will only work in that program) and/or have been abandoned and are offered in a vain attempt to squeeze some bucks out of an ancient piece of software which real professionals abandoned years before.  There are threads here for Blender users ( http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/8736/who-said-blender-was-hard/p1 ).
