Can anyone else connect to R.com?

I'm wondering because the error I"m getting says too many connections...

    I had the same issue when I tried to access their site around 4:00 Central Time. I received a database error.

    I see this message when I try to go to http://www.r.com :

    Sorry, the website r.com cannot be found

    That's because they are actually referring to renderosity I believe, which although slow will eventually load.

    I can´t connect either. >:( Poor guys, it really looks like some nasty attack. Or someone switched off their hosting server by mistake... >:-(

    I was on Rendo earlier this day and all was fine, now the site won´t load.

    "R" won't load for me and hasn't for a couple of hours. I tried to access the site with blazing fiber optics internet service via the university that I work for and then I tried it again once I got home with my slow DSL... nothing. It could be any number of things--attacked/server issues/or database glitch.

    Wow - now it works! A split of a second ago it didn´t. Yep, someone switched the server back on. ;-P

    Back for me too, but that's exactly what I was thinking. denial of service attack, I think. I've heard of them lasting for days.
