Where is the SCALE option?

Working with Millenium Horse Armor.

https://www.daz3d.com/ceremonial-horse-armor

The list of parameters has all the move-directional ones, but is missing SCALE.

Any dieas why that one option isn't available?

----

Matter of fact every horse saddle is missing scale as an option.

I notice that sometimes a creator hides the scale options in items (no idea why) but if you click on the quadruple line in the parameters tab and select the "show hidden" option, they will show up.

You are supposed to trust that autofit will do a perfect job and they assume that you will not want to use the object/figure in any morphed form that sutofit can't cope with. Yeah right.

Come on PAs stop trying to be a Nanny. Allow us the freedom to make our own decisions.

Yeah, I'm putting a horse blanket on a rhino. lol

These are days of frustration where I spend more time battling the small parts instead of rendering.

I'm no vendor, but in one of my (still not released) poser freebies, I deliberately hide certain dials as they may cause havoc when used incorrectly. So if anyone wants to use those, (s)he'll have to unhide them. For me, it is an extra bit of 'fail-save' and as such I can understand the hiding of parameters.

Hi Glasseye, Granted certain dials might be better hidden. Under no circumstances should Scale be one of them.

It comes down to people (PAs) trying to fool proof everything to the point at which it becomes a hinderence. If foolish people insist on doing foolish things then sobeit, but (PAs) please don't try to stop the rest of us from using items in the way we want to. A horse blanket used on a rhino is a classic example!

I can see the vendor's point of view when hiding such things that cause "not-so-desireable" effects as they probably got bombarded with complaints when they weren't hidden and people tried to do weird things.

After all, people like to complain about whatever they can find to complain about. LOL

It's not "in" the tab, but it's separate from the tab, in the tab group. There's one for each tab group.

Just above the tab section is a small box with an arrow and 4 lines. See attached, red box.

Easier method is to just right click on the tab itself and then select "show hidden properties"(it's under the properties sub section), see image 2

Quick side note, the menu options will change depending on which tab is selected in the particular group.
