Is there some trick or short cut ...

I just picked up "3D Muzzle Flash Effects" ( http://www.daz3d.com/3d-muzzle-flash-effects ) and I like it a lot but is there some trick / short cut to getting the blast to line up with the gun barrel? It is taking me a very long time to move the effect, rotate it one way, then another way, then move it again in a different direction and then rotate it again, etc.

Thanks in advance for any tricks or short cuts that might speed things along.

Probably not - though you could save time if you are cosntantly applying different flashes to the same gun by lining a null up with the muzzle opening and then using the Align pane to line the flashes up with that (it may also be easier to line the null up even in one-off use)..
