I am working on a new character and I a piece of fantasy bikini armor. Yes I know it is highly infective but it still goes with the character I am doing.

I love these types of outfits and wish there was more in the MP, i have most of what there is and would love a really detailed Red Sonja outfit. I had to do some serious kit bashing and some modelling to create mine for a project I did.

Pretty sure it would work on genesis, most clothing does. i have looked long and hard at the powerage outfit, but while I like the effort, the design and modeling falls short. Sad thing is, with a little more insight he could have made a sweet RS outfit. I also would only ever use the base bikini parts, so I can't justify the price for those parts.

Yeah I agree, that seems to happen with a lot of power age items. They are too elaborate.

Surely AutoFit will do a good job on chainmail bikinis - it's not as if there's much separation between mesh and skin, or much mesh at all.

Aye, fine if the bikini has a fitted bottom, but the traditional Red Sonja style mail loincloth would get totally savaged by AutoFit

:lol: Thank you for the link. Put a smile on my face this morning. Just so happens that I am working on concepts for female armor of the non-skimpy sort while still trying to make it enhance rather then hide those certain qualities of the female form. *wink*

True, though a basic loincloth would be fairly simple to rerig.

My main gripe with concepts like these are that the bits supposedly covered by 'armour' is really the last place a guy would stick a sword in. Well, unless it's a different kind of sword...

There's a chainmail shader by Syndaryl on Sharecg that can be applied to any cloth surface. I've used it in DS3.

but that's the point of a chainmail bikini - it's so obviously NOT suitable for real fighting etc, it's a fantasy outfit. :D

Exactly. It's a case of style over substance. I've seen merchants at Pennsic selling them, and nobody wearing one would be allowed on the battlefield. But you still see ladies wearing them everywhere else at the event.
