anyone else have a seriously sluggish LIE placement menu?

Whenever I use LIE it seems to just be seriously sluggish as all hell when I am trying to add anything which makes something that should only take a minute at most take about 5 minutes at least. Is this a common problem? any solutions? anyone know why it does it?

I have some tattoos that I apply occasionaly depending on the scene and there is a lag yes. For me, it's more like 10-15seconds though at most. Or maybe it just seems that way. What kind of computer are you using? How's your RAM?
