Need help with gloss\shine difference between body parts
My torso has different shine level than my legs and arms. When I load default character body after the scene I made, problem remain. If I reload daz studio and load body again, everything fine.
Where I can see the settings that remain after I delete the whole scene and load the character again? How to remove the diference without deleteng the character and restarting daz studio?
What skin settings remain even after you completley delete the character?
Mod edit Please attach an image either with clothing or showing just a small area to highlight the problem. Daz 3d Forum ToS does not allow nudity. Thanks.

Which figure is this and are these Iray or 3Delight material presets. I'm not sure if it makes a difference for whichever setting is off in this case, but it's always a good idea to mention which render engine materials questions are about. My guess is that there is a skin setting that is off on the torso. Check the legs and compare them with the torso. One of your settings is probably different. You just have to find the setting and change it to match the rest of the body's surface settings.
As for what surface settings remain after removing a character, depending on how you remove the character, most material settings remain with the figure that is still in the viewport until you actually apply new skin settings.
edit: fixed spelling error
I'm using Iray. I delete the character pressing Del. Then load same character from the genesis 3 character folder. Everything is default. Skin difference remain. All the data from surface tab are comply identical.
If all the data from surface tab are the same, what other settings might cause this? And where I can find them?
Problem solved. I changed torso Glossy Layered Weight to 0.2 (default is 1.2) and difference gone.
Great!
