BLANK VIEWPORT COLOR

When I open a new viewport, the screen (viewport work area) comes up white, instead of grey or blue, like it did previously.

I know it's simple to change back, but I've forgotton how to do it.  How do I change it back to a softer color?

Hi, try out to reset the layout - go to MainMenu: window > workspace > select layout > "choose default one":

Or disable/change viewport "Backround" color settings pane/tab: "Environment" > Type: None / Backdrop.

Or change the current layout viewport color - go to MainMenu: window > style > customize style: 6. Viewports - backround color.

Had this question before - found these options for settings.
