Exporting figures and clothing to .obj format.

Hi all,
I’ve been asked to do some figures in solid model form. The plan would be to model them in Daz, then export them to .obj format to open up and scale or whatever in my CAD program, eventually printing them. The problem is, while I can export to obj from Daz, it apparently only exports the figure, not the clothing they’re wearing; that's how they open up in my CAD program, totally nude, although a pair of glasses from the Sexy Secretary set once came through, but only the glasses, not the rest of the outfit, accessories nor hair. I rather doubt that Shapeways would be alright printing nekkid ladies, so... I need to figure out a way to export both the figure and their clothing, hair and accessories. I’ve tried playing around with the export options and checking for tutorials on Youtube, but nothing seems to work or address this exact issue, at least nothing that I’ve come across. Does anyone have any suggestions or words of wisdom concerning this?
Mucho thanks to any and all.
Bob

That sounds odd - by default all visible items should export. Do be aware, however, that the Daz EULA does not allow 3D priniting other than for personal use - if you want anything else you need to open a Sales Support ticket http://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us to agree terms.
They're just for some friends personal gaming needs, nothing more.
I export figures as OBJs all the time since I render in Vue. All of it always gets imported. Check your render export settings. There are many combinations.
Try highlighting everything you want exported in the scene tab. If the clothing is parented, expand the figure and ctrl-click to highlight all the clothing as well.
