Render Shadows Off

Hi. What ever happened to the control Shadows Off? I used to use it all of a time, now I can't seem to find it. Does setting the render to IRay remove the function? I still don't seem to see it when I set to 3Delight. It was always useful with eye glasses, bracelets, and the like.

    Iray does not, in Photoreal mode, allow shadows to be swtiched off - it's approximately simulating the way real light behaves. You can turn shadows off in Interactive mode, but then you lose other features (such as emissive surfaces).
