Photoshop 3d bridge install fail

Can't install Photoshop 3D bridge
I have Daz3d 4.9 and the latest install manager. When I install PS 3D Bridge it shows up in Photoshop CC, Photoshop then tries to launch Daz and fails and I get a message saying I must activate 3d bridge in Daz. However in my version of Daz there is no sign of 3D bridge either under "file" or in "about installed plugins" (where incidentally the plugin "dzcontentdbeditor" is red)
Help much appreciated

How did you (try to) install the plug-in?
Somewhere there's a post where they relate that both the bridge and Daz must match versions.
(might not be this forum)
For me, I needed the most up to date Bridge.
When I updated Daz to the latest version- it MATCHED the bridge that's live for download.
The bridge and Daz version matched and it linked without problem.
I would check to see if you have the latest version of Daz and THEN grab the current file for Adobe Bridge from the Daz site.
*** before I did this the bridge would not accept the Adobe Photoshop .exe no matter how many times I pointed directly to it.
I installed the plug in with install manager but I might have accidentally changed the path in the application configuratiuon setting. What is the default path of Daz studio 4,5+ when installed by install manager?
The Photoshop bridge isn't a D|S plugin, it's a Photoshop plugin. The application path you need to put into that slot in the DIM is for the Photoshop program folder, so that DIM knows where to install the plugin.
