Installed clothing and textures for Tre without success

Hi everyone,

I've recently bought and installed clothing for Tre (http://www.daz3d.com/tre) and I can locate the clothing in the Content Library, but every time I click on something I want to use it doesn't show up on the Genesis character. I'm working on a Mac and I installed it all in the recommended installation path (username/documents/Daz3d/My Library) but it still doesn't work.

Has anyone else had this problem? Please help! Thanks so much!

    That usually means the thing you are double-clicking is a material setting for the clothes, not the clothes themselves. Exactly what are you trying to load, and where is it located?

    Hi Richard,

    I'm trying to load clothes onto a genesis character. I've taken a screenshot of the path in the content library that I'm trying to use. Is this the right path?

    This item comes with both Poser Format, and DAZ Studio Format files.

    When using DS4.5, you should be looking in DAZ Studio Formats > My Library > People > Genesis for the clothing items. I don;t have this item, but it is probably in the Clothing folder under Genesis.

    Thanks for your reply. There only seems to be an empty material folder in the same path for Daz Studio Formats. I've looked everywhere for it. I've also tried to uninstall and re-install but still nothing.

    Those images are the ones I have and they load OK, plus there is a Materials folder in there as well.

    Really? Was it in the Daz Studio Formats folder or the Poser Formats folder? and are you able to use it with the Genesis figure? Sorry for all the questions but everytime I double click on it to activate it a pop-up window opens momentarily as if it is loading but then nothing happens (though this is only through the Poser Formats path, as I can't see anything through the Daz Studio Formats path).

    They were in the Poser Format folder and yes it worked on Genesis.

    I had the same problem with the Tre clothing, and no, the items weren't to be found anywhere. All I could find were the materials. (I did a search in the content library.) I reinstalled all files for Tre, including the materials, & it worked. I think there might genuinely be a bug in the installers or something.

    Thanks for the posts. I just tried to do the same thing (uninstall and reinstall everything again) and it didn't do anything differently. It definitely tries to load (I took a screenshot of the message) but still no clothing on the figure. It's getting very frustrating!

    The CR2 won't work - it's probably just a call to the Python script that launches the DSON importer in Poser 9/2012 - and it looks as if the .duf file that should be there too is missing (otherwise there'd be a scroll icon at top-left of the thumbnail). Is that DS 4.5 or DS4.0? You need to be using 4.5 for this.
