How do you make the Face and Lips Glossy in Iray?

It seems impossible for me . Some characters for some reason already have glossy lips, i guess the settings they came with makes them have glossy lips but i tried manipulating GLossy layered weight etc and for many characters the results is nothing much.
As for the face, head, i'm also finding it hard getting a glossy face. Any tips?

You can try playing with the specular level. Some texture sets have a glossy and matt version of each lip colour. You could try comparing the two texture sets for the lips to see what has been changed to get glossy lips. That should give you a good idea about how to make your own textures glossy. Have fun.
This sounds like a case where the specularity maps are too dark for any of the typical Iray conversion settings. That's easy enough to fix with Photoshop or the Layered Image Editor. In Photoshop or GIMP, you can adjust the brightness and contrast of the original spec maps, or in L.I.E. you can add a new solid white layer and adjust the transparency until the spec map is light enough to give good results. Test out your skin settings without spec maps first, though, to make sure you have the right "max" gloss (or shine, if you prefer).
In the Surfaces tab, go to the Lips surface.
In there, find Glossy Reflectivity and Glossy Roughness.
If you dial up Reflectivity, that will cause the lips to shine a bit more.
If you dial DOWN Roughness, this might also increase the shine. Bumping UP Roughness will usually decrease the gloss.
Turning down "dual lobe specular weight" worked very well for me!
I am working with a character that has some kind of lips gloss and this setting reduced the glossyness a lot without loosing details on the lip surface.
