'A' pose issue when fitting a shirt to character

Hi,

I'm trying to import a basic A-posed clothing piece made with Marvelous Designer to my A-posed Michael 7 (Genesis 3) character.
Here's what happens when I use Transfer Utility to fit the polo to the character :

Before Rigging :

After rigging using Transfer Utility feature :

Poke-throughs are not a problem, I can deal with that. The real issue is the sleeves, look at how deformed they are.

I bend the character's arms by 60 degrees to fit the cloth shape before rigging and I get this weird issue.
I tried rigging with the character and cloth both T-posed, it works.
But the problem is, I have to work with clothes that are A-posed when using Marvelous Designer to get realistic results.

What can I do to correct it please ?

Here are my settings by the way (And I've tried checking, unchecking almost everything heheh)

I have found the solution. I just had to rotate the cloth's joint to 60 degrees just like my character's. :)

  • Transfer Utility works on the zeroed shape - the trick witht hings like this is to use the bake Rotations command (Joint Editor option menu) on the posed figure so that the A pose looks like the zeroed pose, use Transfer Utility, bend the arms on the newly rigged shirt back up, and Bake Rotations on that.

Thanks for the tip Richard, I'll try that.
