Installing in a new folder

I am currently using Connect to download and install everything, and use DIM to install the poser files.

I want to create a seperate library that I only use DIM for,  

What folders do I need to change, so I have like an empty library to start fresh for DIM. (AND on a different drive)

So you want to uninstall the DIM content, the reinstall to a new location? You need to do the uninstall, then click the gear icon in DIM and edit the path in the Installation tab. In DS you need to add that path to your content directories, and remove the old one if it's truly empty - you can do both by right-clicking on the folder or the ... Formats heading in the Content Library pane.

Yes, I want to start DIM clean, and see if it's still making a mess.   I had uninstall everything in connect, and deleted the folder, and re-inistalled through DIM, and still ended up with items that are not showing as installed in Daz, while they are installed in DIM. 

When I switched back to Connect, then  once I install everything , it's just installed and showing..  i don't understand why items are getting marked as not installed.

Even when i re-import the Meta data for it.

Are you sure your content directories match? I may already have covered this in a previous thread.

Yes they are.

For kicks I tried an empty database, and only installed the 25 Animate items.
Only 3 showed installed in Daz, and in DIM all 25 were installed.
When I went to update Meta Data.  only those 3 are showing.
