Dealing with the "four arms" feature

Hello.... I'm trying to use the genesis four arms addition on a genesis Gorilla. I know it's been done because i've seen artwork depicting it. When I try to do it and I use the Genesis Gorilla it will add four arms to the figure. The problem is the added arms are still human. I tried using just the generic genesis figure, adding the four arms and then dialing up a gorilla but the second pair of arms still stay human. Any insight?

Hello. First of all I want to let you know I think your work is marvelous. Now as to my question. I noticed a presentation piece you did which I am assuming is a "John Carter" piece because of the 4 armed white Ape. I have tried adding "4 arms" to a Gorilla but arms 3 and 4 remain human. How did you get them to emulate the ape arms?

I can probably answer that on their behalf. It looks to me like for the Ape they used Genesis as their base, dialed in some of the Gorila, and then used the Four Arms for Genesis geograft. They might have done a custom morph and texture to get the rest of it looking cohesive. Unless there is a white ape character set somewhere in the market someplace.
But this would be my best guess.
A much simpler solution would be to load two gorillas, and then either scale down, or hide the parts you don't need, and move the arms down to the desired position.
The only way I know to do this is actually have a second gorilla mostly invisible set to collide on the first or similar.
There definitely seem to be limitations on what can be done with the 4 Arms product. For example, I've found that if you bulk up the base character (applying the Bodybuilder morph, for example), the additional arms stay skinny. I don't know if there's a way to work around that.

In addition I have found that no matter what I do with it if I even keep it just a human image if I try to alter it (i.e., dial up bodybuilder for an example) The second pair of arms remain unaltered. Any insight?
Merged three threads on this topic. FeralFey above answers your question - the arms have a cusom morph that has not been released, made by one of the vendors involved. I vaguely recall soem discussion of the figure at the time and I think this may have been a deliberate decision by whoever made the morph, perhaps because it was not really polished enough for geenral use but was made for use in that image from pretty much that angle.
