How to covert a pose to a dial in slider?

I have bought some boots and every time I pose the figure I need to reload the foot pose that came with them. I have noticed with other high heeled shoes that they somehow embed a dial in slider that persists even when you apply poses that are flat footed. I was wondering if I could take the foot pose for the boots and do the same by creating a slider morph?? So that I don't have to keep loading it all the time .....but how can I do this?   Thanks in advance.

    1. Zero the figure, then apply the foot pose.
    2. Right-click in the Parameters pane and set it to Edit Mode, if it isn't.
    3. Right-click in the group you want to add the control to and select Create New Property...
    4. Set the label and adjust limits or any other changes desired - for this a 0 to 1 range is probably all you need, so adjust the minumum value.
    5. Set the new property to 1 (or 100%, depending on display settings)
    6. right-click on the new property and select ERC Freeze.
    7. in the dialogue, your new property should be the controller and the controlled properties at the bottom should list only the posing on the feet - uncheck anything else that has crept in
    8. click Accept and check that the new control works as desired
    9. You probably don't want this as a universal control, since not every shoe set willw ant the same values, but if you do File>Save as>Support Assets>Morph Asset and in the dialogue check just the new property.
